The saxon:byte-order-mark attribute on xsl:output and xsl:result-document is replaced by byte-order-mark: that is, this is no longer a Saxon extension but is now a standard feature. At present, the default is "no", regardless of the encoding.

The Windows-1252 codepage is now fully supported as an output encoding. The class to achieve this is taken from the Docbook distribution; it was originally written by Pontus Haglund.
