public class ParseJsonFn
extends JsonToXMLFn
implements Callable

Implements the parse-json function. This is a hybrid of the version defined in the 2012 XSLT 3.0 specification and the version in the draft Functions and Operators 3.1 specification. It parses JSON to produce a structure of maps and arrays; but because arrays are not present in the data model until XDM 3.1, it represents an array as a map with integer keys, along the lines of the 2012 XSLT 2.0 specification. However, the device used in that specification to distinguish an empty map from an empty array by means of a magic collation is not available, since maps no longer have a collation. Therefore, an array is represented by a map that has positive integer keys for the entries in the array, plus a marker entry whose key is the integer -1 and whose value is the empty sequence. The handling of options is exactly as for the json-to-xml function.
