Saxon 9.0 is now available.
This is the first new feature release of Saxon for 8 months, and represents probably the biggest package of new functionality since schema-awareness was introduced in Saxon 8.0 in 2004.
As with all releases, conformance to W3C standards has remained the highest priority. Saxon 9.0 therefore incorporates fixes to all the minor issues that have been resolved since the XSLT 2.0 and XQuery 1.0 specifications were published in January 2007.

Saxon-SA 9.0 can be downloaded from here. Users with licenses issued after 3 November 2006 can upgrade at no cost; those with earlier licenses can purchase an upgrade.
