Large Organisation

For Saxon-CE licensing purposes, the term Large Organization is defined as:

An organization with annual revenues greater than or equal to USD $1 million or its equivalent.

The Organization in question is the entity that owns the web site accessible at the registered domain, in the sense of having control over its content. This may be an individual person, or a legal entity such as a corporation or partnership, or an informal organization such as a club or society, or an administrative unit such as a government department. If the entity that owns the web site isn't apparent from the way the web site presents itself, then the relevant factor is the registrant of the domain name.

The revenue in question is the income or budget of the organization in the most recent financial year for which figures are available; if the organization has been in existence for less than a year, it is the expected income for the current year.

Saxonica reserves the right to require evidence to support any claim that the owner of a web site is a small or large organization. In the event of any ambiguity in this definition, Saxonica reserves the right to decide who the organization responsible for a domain is, and whether it qualifies as a Small or Large organization.
